Special Workshops

Junior Worldbuilders Workshop for Young Storytellers

Saturday August 29th // 11:00AM - 2:00PM

Every story has to start somewhere. A porch. A crossroads. A kitchen table where the coffee’s always on.

In this three hour workshop, your child will build a tiny fictional town from the ground up. They’ll name it. They’ll give it a history. They’ll draw its map, the church, the bakery, the road that floods every spring. They’ll invent a family to live there, complete with secrets and suppers and a porch swing that creaks just right. And before they go home, they’ll write their very first scene set in the world they made, a true beginning to a story that belongs only to them.

This is not a craft class. It’s a worldbuilding apprenticeship that turns imagination into something they can hold in their hands.

Date: August 29, 2026

Time: 11am to 2pm

Ages: 7 to 12. No writing experience needed, just curiosity and a little imagination.

What’s Included: students will leave with a guided booklet/World Bible

Instructor: Jheanell
